Jury verdict for county represented by E+B.
E+B obtained a jury verdict in favor of a Texas county that was sued, along with its commissioners’ court and county judge, for allegedly wrongfully terminating a public official. The jury held that the public official was properly terminated pursuant to the “resign-to-run rule” after he announced his candidacy for county sheriff.
