He also has successfully handled civil appeals before the Texas Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Texas.
His clients include Fortune 500 companies, major insurers, industrial equipment manufacturers and suppliers, real estate developers, lenders, creditors, general contractors, and subcontractors.
He also speaks at the Property Loss Research Bureau/Liability Insurance Research Bureau regional conferences where he advises on good faith claims and insurance coverage matters.
John Michael joined Eggleston + Briscoe, LLP in 2008 as an associate and became a partner in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, he was at Gibson, McClure & Wallace, LLP in Dallas, Texas where he centered his practice on employment and workers’ compensation non-subscribers.
John Michael volunteers with the Buffalo Bayou Partnership – a non-profit organization revitalizing and transforming Buffalo Bayou in Houston – and as a mediator with the Harris County Dispute Resolution Center. He regularly attends Dash and Dynamo soccer games with his wife and twins.
